Individual IR3NR Income Tax Return - If your rental property makes a profit we will advise you of the tax to pay on this profit, or if your property makes a loss this will be carried forward to the following year, or offset against any other NZ income. We file this IR3NR Individual Income Tax return with Inland Revenue on your behalf.
Annual Income Summary and Rental Schedule - Our property team will compile your rental property schedule. We will ensure that your taxes are calculated correctly and that every applicable deduction has been taken advantage of, so you are only paying the minimum amount of tax, and on the due date. If the assessment results in tax to pay Inland Revenue’s assessment will show your due date of any tax payable.
Once we have filed your IR3NR we will provide you with a Rental Schedule and a Tax Summary to keep for your records. Once IRD have processed your return they will issue assessments which should be retained.

IRD requires that we correctly identify you. Please provide a scanned copy of either your driver's licence or the photo page of your passport.
IRD number
Let us know your personal IRD number. If you don’t have one, My Tax Rentals can apply for this on your behalf.
Non-tax residency status confirmation
Please confirm the date you left or intend to leave NZ and when you intend to return.
